Our story

From a real tideland, not a warehouse.

Most "fresh" seafood has already been frozen, thawed, and trucked across the country before it reaches you. We do the opposite. Our shellfish is hand-harvested at low tide from the cold, clean waters of the Salish Sea — Hood Canal, Willapa Bay, Puget Sound — by tribal and small-family harvesters who've worked these flats for generations.

We pack it live on gel ice the same day and ship it FedEx Priority Overnight, so it lands on your doorstep the next morning still cold and alive. No dredging, no middlemen, no freezer. Just the catch, the way it's meant to taste.

Questions, answered

When do you ship, and when will it arrive?
Order Monday–Wednesday by 2pm PT and choose your delivery date at checkout. We ship FedEx Priority Overnight so your catch arrives the next morning, cold and alive. We hold over weekends to keep everything fresh — no shellfish sitting in a truck.
Is it really never frozen?
Correct. Everything is harvested live and shipped live, packed on gel ice (never dry ice, never loose ice). Refrigerate on arrival, keep on the gel pack, and don't submerge in fresh water.
What if it doesn't arrive in good shape?
Live-arrival guarantee: if your order shows up warm or not alive, send us a photo and we'll make it right — refund or reship, your call.
How much is shipping?
Flat $20 overnight cold-chain, and free on orders over $150. You're paying for real next-morning refrigerated freight, not a frozen box.
How do I shuck / handle it?
Every box includes a handling card. Oysters ship with a shucking guide; geoduck with a quick blanch-and-slice walkthrough for sashimi or crudo. Refrigerate immediately, cook or eat within a few days.
